Good traveler companion Feb 03, 2010
If you are someone who cares how weigh your luggages before airlines required you extra payments for any excess, this product is right for you. You can set this scale for different weight units and even it can show you how cold it is. The only problem I found is that you need to find a hook to put this scale on, the ring is very difficult to hold with the finger. Imagine to try to lift a luggage that weighs 60 LB with one finger. You could have your finger snap off from your hand. lol.

Useful scale w/ small design flaw Feb 01, 2010
I used this scale just before moving overseas, and it worked very well for my purposes. It is small and lightweight, which is good for traveling, and easy to use.
Its primary design flaw is that it is rather hard on your hands to hold up heavy bags using the metal ring on the top of the device - something we solved by using a broom handle. It also helps to have two people about, one to hold up the bag and one to read the display.
So, a good device for the price but if you're using it solo or you have a hard time lifting things it might not be the one for you.
