Don't buy Dec 29, 2009
I would NOT recommend this product to anyone. I got it because I liked the InCase Slider Case for iPhone 3G/S, but wanted a more toned down pink than their hot pink. I thought this would be perfect! I loved the color when I opened it. And now it's been about two weeks. Here are my problems:
Immediately, I noticed that it will not fit on my phone with the crystal protective film on the screen. It comes over the sides of the phone to the EXACT point where the screen protector ends (actual InCase brand doesn't come around sides so much), pushing it up and creating bubbles. The screen protector was pushed up almost halfway when I grasped my phone, slightly squeezing the sides of the case and therefore the screen protector. I resigned to take off the screen protector and be extra careful.
Next, I went to play my iPhone in my car using the tape deck adaptor. Just a regular adaptor...where the headphone jack plug is L-shaped instead of straight. It won't fit through the case far enough to plug into the headphone jack. Now, maybe this can be fixed by a different kind of adaptor with a straight plug, but I haven't looked for one of those. I resigned to using my iPod.
Once, when I didn't have my iPod, I took off the top part of the case in order to play my iPhone. My iPhone is scratched! The back of it has two vertical lines the entire length of the phone. I examined the inside of the case, and there are seams (? something) in the plastic causing these! Not huge, but enough to make marks on my phone apparently...and it's not like I take the case off/on a lot. UGH! This totally defeats the purpose of a case.
Now, on to continue the quest for the perfect case...
